Wärtsilä is a Finnish manufacturer founded in 1834 and known for its durable marine diesel engines. The Wärtsilä 32 is a medium-speed four-stroke engine with a strong track record. Main components for the heart of the engine
Many suppliers only offer wear parts. Toes Group also supplies the heavy components that form the core of the Wärtsilä 32. Our range includes the cylinder block and the crankshaft. When we grind a crankshaft to an undersize, we supply the matching bearings with it, so it can go straight back into service. We also supply the connecting rod and the camshaft section. These are precision parts where the dimensions have to be exactly right.
Cylinder heads, pistons and liners
For a top-end overhaul, we supply the cylinder head, the piston and the cylinder liner. You can complete the set with a valve tappet. Our workshop pressure tests every cylinder head under conditions that simulate operation on the engine, so cracks and leaks are detected before the head leaves our premises. If the valve seats are corroded, we machine them to the correct oversize. This keeps the cylinder head in service instead of replacing it.
Cooling, lubrication and fuel systems
We also supply the parts that keep the systems around the engine running. For cooling, our range includes the coolant pump, the air cooler and a matching tube bundle. The multiduct is also available, and a multiduct prepared by us is barely distinguishable from a new one.
For lubrication, we supply the lubricating oil pump, the oil pump and the centrifugal filter, which keeps the oil clean. On the fuel side, we supply the fuel pump.
Reconditioned to factory standards
Every part we supply is either factory new or reconditioned in our own workshop. We buy complete engines and dismantle them ourselves. Each part is then cleaned in an ultrasonic bath, blasted and measured against factory tolerances. A measurement report records every check and every machining step. With more than 65 years of experience and an extensive archive of dimensional data, we work to the same standards as the manufacturer.
