Main components
Many suppliers only offer wear parts, but we also supply the heavy components of the VASA 32. Our range includes the cylinder block and the crankshaft, which form the foundation of the engine. Crankshafts that have been ground to an undersize come with the correct matching bearings, so they can go straight back into service. We complete the drive train with the connecting rod and the camshaft section.
Cylinder heads and pistons
The cylinder head is one of the most heavily loaded parts of the engine, so we treat it with extra care. Each cylinder head is cleaned, blasted and measured, then pressure tested under conditions that simulate operation on the engine. If the valve seats are worn or corroded, we machine them to the correct oversize. We also supply the matching piston, which we measure for ovality against the manufacturer’s limits before delivery.
Cooling and lubrication
For the systems around the engine, we supply the coolant pump and the air cooler, which keep engine temperatures under control. For lubrication, the lubricating oil pump ensures a reliable oil supply to all moving parts.
Factory new or reconditioned
Every part we supply is either factory new or reconditioned in our own workshop. Each reconditioned part comes with a measurement report that records every check and every machining step. Since 1958 we have built up an extensive archive of dimensional data, including data for older engine generations. This allows us to work to the same tolerances as the manufacturer.
