Product Description
The rocker arm transfers the motion of the camshaft to the valves and/or the fuel injector, determining the exact moment of opening and closing. Correct valve clearance, set via the rocker arm, is essential for proper cylinder filling and sealing.
Wear at the contact point with the camshaft, or on the rocker arm's own shaft, can lead to deviating valve timing, increased noise and, in the worst case, valve damage because a valve no longer closes fully. Regular inspection prevents this kind of wear from spreading to more expensive components.
