Product Description
The lube oil pump of the MaK M25 supplies pressure and circulation of the lubricating oil to bearings, crankshaft, connecting rods and other moving parts of the engine, making it decisive for the service life of almost every moving component in the engine.
On an in-line engine with a relatively long crankshaft, the pump has to keep delivering oil at sufficient pressure across the full length of the engine; wear in the pump element usually shows up first at the bearings furthest from the pump, rather than the ones close by.
