Product Description
The cooling water pump of the MaK M25 circulates cooling water through the engine block, cylinder heads and charge air cooler, keeping the engine within its operating temperature across the full 720 to 750 rpm range at which this type is run.
On engines that have already been in service for a long time, scaling or deposit build-up inside the pump housing is one of the most common causes of gradually declining cooling capacity, often long before any visible leak appears. Periodic checks of pump output are therefore a valuable preventive measure.
