Product Description
The cylinder head of the MaK M25 closes off the cylinder and houses the valve actuation for the direct fuel injection that characterises this engine. As part of the MaK long-stroke generation, the head was designed for straightforward maintenance access, one of the explicit design goals of this engine series.
On an in-line engine with no V-version, every cylinder head in practice carries the same load from the same crankshaft, without the distribution across two cylinder banks found on a V-engine; a deviation in cooling or valve seating on one head therefore feeds straight through into the vibration and temperature pattern of the whole row.
Toes Group supplies cylinder heads for the MaK M25 for the configurations 6M25, 8M25 and 9M25, new and reconditioned, with inspection of valve seats and cooling channels.
