Product Description
This two-piece clamping ring is used to firmly and repeatably position and secure a component of the MAN 21/31, such as a bearing or shaft bearing, without having to disassemble the shaft or surrounding component around its full circumference. The two-piece design makes assembly and disassembly considerably easier than with a single, unbroken ring.
Because the ring is fitted in two halves, the flatness and fit of the split face is at least as important as the condition of the ring itself: even a slight irregularity there can reduce the clamping action and, with it, the security of the component it holds.
