Product Description
This pipe bend forms a change of direction in a piping run on the MAN 21/31, for example in the exhaust, cooling water or air system, connecting two sections of pipe at the correct angle with the corresponding flange connections.
A bend often carries a higher mechanical and thermal load than a straight section of pipe, since the flow direction changes here; cracking from thermal fatigue and leakage at the flange joints are therefore the most common failure modes on this type of component.
