Product Description
This pipe piece forms a section of piping within, for example, the exhaust, cooling water or air system of the MAN 16/24, connecting two fixed points in the piping run with the correct flange connections.
On a pipe piece carrying hot exhaust gas or pressurised cooling water, cracking from thermal fatigue and leakage at the flange joints are the most common failure modes; both are often difficult to spot at an early stage without targeted inspection.
